PROTAC FITNESS, LLC is a 100% veteran-owned small business that specializes in combat conditioning, post deployment training, physical fitness and exercise testing, athletic training, resiliency programs, and research. We are a certified business in Louisiana’s SEBD program, Hudson Initiative, and Veteran Initiative.

Our goal is two-fold: 1) to transform our clients’ physical fitness with the most effective and sustainable training & resiliency programs in the field, and 2) to conduct & deliver useful, cutting-edge research to change the future of wellness programming for athletes, military members, and law enforcement professionals. Our CEO, Canaan Heard, served 10 years in the United States Marine Corps. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, a certified personal trainer, and a PhD graduate candidate in Tulane University’s Department of Physiology in New Orleans. For the last 7 years, he has developed his expertise in both the private and public sectors, researching, advising and training individuals and groups from various backgrounds.
